Over the course of April and May the club played out its three singles championships. The Club Championship Singles saw a a mammoth field with 28 entries kick off the the qualifying day of play in near perfect conditions to whittle the field down to 16 to move into the knockout rounds. The first knock out finals day saw one of the worst days of the season in terms of weather, but with the pressure of needing conclude the event to find a Club Champion, play went on in some very sketchy conditions ![]() which saw the quarter finals conclude as follows:
The semi-finals and finals were played the following weekend and saw John James beat Scott Harrison, and Matt Johnson beat Steve Kirwan to progress to the final where Matt took the win over John with his steady pressure and accurate bowling. The Veteran Singles Championship were played across a couple weeks and saw John James and Rex Bell matched up in the final for this years edition. John prevailed with a single point in the last end of a tight match to take the title 10-9. This years First Year Singles Championship was played in a round robin format in ideal bowling conditions last weekend and saw Paul Jerrom prevail as the winner, remaining unbeaten across the tournament.
