 The annual Bone of Contention tournament was played for with our long term rivals and friends at the Browns Bay Bowling Club last Sunday. For a change weather gods smiled and allowed for a full days play in improving conditions. The first round of games felt evenly split, but over the next two rounds saw Balmoral ease away to a comprehensive win again to retain the trophy and ensures no empty space on the wall back the Clubhouse. Final score was 18 points to 6 with Balmoral also having the only 3 wins team as well. An excellent day and was always we were well provided for by the members at the Browns Bay club.  |
